This hands-on role is ideal for someone passionate about engineering, eager to see their designs come to life, and ready to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions that meet both JCB standards and global legislative requirements.
What does this role involve day to day?
* Engineering ownership of small to medium-sized projects, from product brief through to launch
* Design and development of fabricated structures, with a focus on material selection, manufacturing processes, and FEA understanding
* Collaboration with suppliers to develop hydraulic and electrical systems that are efficient, robust, and cost-effective
* Ensuring all designs meet JCB standards and comply with legislative requirements
* Regular communication with stakeholders, including project reviews and presentations
This will be suited to you if
* You have a passion for engineering and enjoy seeing your designs come to life
* You’re looking to develop your skills across a varied product range and take ownership of your projects
* You value cross-functional collaboration with commercial and operations teams to deliver successful outcomes
* You have relevant industry experience or product knowledge in off-highway machinery or light equipment
* You enjoy practical, hands-on engineering work alongside design responsibilities
What happens next?
