The Barnoldswick branch is part of a multisite with Clitheroe branch, requiring the successful candidate to work from Clitheroe approximately 1 in 3 Saturdays.
Salary: £23,600 Pro Rata (£20,978.04 for 32 hours/week)

About the Role
As a Customer Consultant, you will engage with customers to understand their needs, provide information about our savings products and services, and help them review their circumstances and goals. Your role is to deliver a straightforward, helpful service, demonstrating enthusiasm and professionalism.
Our branches are central to our communities, but we also support customers online and via contact centres, providing face-to-face, virtual, and outbound services. You will be the friendly face and voice of Skipton Building Society, acting as a listener, problem solver, and financial guide.

Key Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact, welcoming customers warmly in-branch and over the phone.
* Ask insightful questions to uncover customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Listen carefully and offer personalized advice to meet individual circumstances.
* Proactively reach out to customers by phone to identify needs and support.
* Maintain accurate customer records, with special attention to vulnerable customers.
* Adhere to policies and standards, supported by comprehensive training.
What We Need From You
* Experience interacting with customers, in person or over the phone. Previous banking or building society experience is not essential.
* Experience in retail, hospitality, healthcare, or similar sectors demonstrating exceptional service skills.
* Ability to work well with others and manage time effectively during busy periods.
* Flexibility to adapt and grow with business needs.
