We are looking for an Associate Art Director, to work closely with the Art Director and studio and development teams to drive the visual quality, consistency, and innovation across our simulation titles. You'll be responsible for supporting art direction, and ensuring assets align with the creative vision of projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a lead level artist looking to step into a leadership role and influence the artistic direction of our Train Sim World titles and beyond.
Our ideal candidate will have experience across all art disciplines, though we would love someone with experience across Concept Art, that is able to do paintovers and guide the external Concept Art teams.

* Collaborate with the Art Director to develop and maintain visual direction across projects.
* Support and guide internal and external art teams in delivering assets that meet style and quality expectations.
* Contribute to the creation of style guides, visual benchmarks, and documentation.
* Review art assets for quality, coherence, and performance across platforms.
* Provide hands-on support across the art teams.
* Help mentor and provide feedback.
What we look for in you:
* Proven experience in a lead role within the games industry.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating a high level of realism.
* Solid understanding of game art pipelines and workflows.
* Experience working in Unreal Engine 5.
* Ability to give clear, constructive feedback and support a collaborative team culture.
Preferred:
* Experience leading or mentoring other artists.
* Familiarity with asset optimisation and performance constraints on multiple platforms.
* Experienced Concept Artist who is able to give vital project support.
