Job Description
* Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll processing for the organisation.
* Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and statutory requirements.
* Maintain and update payroll systems and records accurately.
* Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliations.
* Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll queries promptly.
* Provide guidance and support to team members on payroll-related matters.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
* Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations relevant to the not-for-profit sector.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Payroll Manager will have:
* Proven experience in payroll management within accounting and finance.
* Strong knowledge of payroll systems and statutory requirements in the UK.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Solid communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in relevant software and IT systems.
