The Lincoln Medical School is proud to have recruited its first cohort of Gateway Year medical students, with the first year of the five-year medical degree starting in September 2026.
We are looking to recruit a dedicated and motivated medical educator to work across delivery of the programmes, with a particular focus on the teaching of human/medical physiology. In this role you will teach students from year 1 to year 5, in topics across the wide domain of human/medical physiology. Prior experience of teaching physiology to medical students is therefore a desirable applicant attribute.
You will be encouraged to use innovative and varied teaching techniques, working with small to medium sized cohorts to maximise students’ potential. Joining our team means contributing to a supportive culture where innovation in medical education thrives. There is the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the medical curriculum at Lincoln to shape the doctors of the future.
For an informal conversation about the role please contact the Dean of Medical Education, Professor Danny McLaughlin (dmclaughlin@lincoln.ac.uk).
