£30,000-£40,000 + Training + Progression + Pension

In this role, you will be responsible for the design and manufacture of Mechanical Marine Hydraulic Systems, with an on-site CNC and Fabrication shop where all manufacturing is done in-house. You will work closely with the Senior Design Engineer and Design Manager to support the development of a wide range of products, gaining valuable industry experience.
The ideal Junior Mechanical Design Engineer will have a background in Mechanical Engineering and prior design experience, with the ability to understand, interpret, and produce CAD drawings (specifically using 3D CAD software).
The role includes:
* Supporting the Senior Design Engineer and Design Manager in the design and manufacture of Mechanical Hydraulic Systems
* Producing CAD drawings
* Maintaining accurate technical documentation
The person:
* Has a background in Mechanical Engineering
* Has previous design experience and knowledge of CAD
