Warehouse Manager
Join a well-established, high-performing warehouse team at a fast-growing ecommerce fashion retailer. Our warehouse operation is the backbone of the business, supporting smooth and efficient fulfilment for customers across the UK, US and Europe.
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our established team of 10, ensuring all warehouse functions run efficiently across Inbound, Picking, and Despatch. You will work closely with our supervisors and warehouse operatives to maintain excellent service levels and continually improve performance.
Forklift operation is a key part of this role, so a valid forklift licence is required.
This is a hands-on leadership role, working alongside the team while ensuring daily operations meet the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the daily management of warehouse activities, including task allocation, team briefs, workflow planning, and communication across departments and with external suppliers.
* Maintain strong team performance through monitoring KPIs, providing constructive feedback, and delivering regular performance updates.
* Step in to support operational duties when required, including picking, packing, and forklift tasks.
* Ensure all warehouse areas, equipment, and stock are kept clean, organised, and compliant with company Health & Safety procedures.
* Oversee efficient fulfilment operations and maintain high levels of stock accuracy.
* Support continuous improvement across warehouse processes, identifying opportunities to enhance speed, accuracy, and team productivity.
Skills & Experience Required
* 5+ years' experience in a Warehouse Manager (or similar senior warehouse leadership) role.
* Proven experience managing warehouse fulfilment operations in a busy environment.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of around 10 operatives.
* Experience with ecommerce fulfilment (preferred but not essential).
* Lives within 30 minutes of Dartford and able to commute by car.
* Clear and confident communicator with excellent team-management skills.
* Strong IT skills with the ability to manage spreadsheets, review data, and report weekly performance metrics.
* Experience using PeopleVox or other WMS
* Forklift experience and valid licence essential.
