Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain and transportation processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in meeting our operational goals. This position requires strong data analysis skills and experience with various tools and systems to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties
* Have experience of van maintenance, ensuring that all the vans are serviced regularly, tires, checked, vans, checked on the weekly basis for any bodywork damage. Also driver performance and KPIs for such things as weights collected/ efficiency of driving etc
* Manage the clothing collection process for our donators across the North West of England.
* Plan and coordinate daily routes using our routing software.
* Booking and rebooking of urgent collections.
* Complete helpline duties to cover for holidays.
* Maintain excellent phone etiquette while communicating with donators regarding their collection booking.
* Prepare regular reports on booking/collection activities for management review.
* Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to booking/collections
* Conduct data mining and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement within the supply chain.
Experience
* Proven experience in an admin or office based role, preferably in logistics.
* strong knowledge of Webfleet
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to plan collection routes.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution
