Northamptonshire Children's Trust is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our Multi-Agency Exploitation Hub. This is a vital service supporting young people identified as being at high risk of exploitation, ensuring a coordinated and effective multi-agency response.
Hybrid Working: 3 days office-based
About the Role
As Team Manager, you will provide direct line management to 6 Advanced Practitioners who work jointly with partner agencies to safeguard vulnerable young people. You will play a central role in shaping and overseeing the strategic and operational response to exploitation across the county.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Advanced Practitioners within the Exploitation Hub.
Oversee and coordinate multi-agency responses for young people at high risk of exploitation.
Provide locality social work teams with expert advice, guidance, and support on exploitation cases.
Ensure effective mapping of risk indicators, patterns, and community hot spots.
Strengthen joint working with police, health, education, and community partners.
Maintain high standards of practice, performance, and safeguarding.Requirements
Previous experience working specifically in an Exploitation Hub, Youth Justice team, or contextual safeguarding service.
Qualified Social Work Degree
Social Work England Registration
Experience delivering training or practice development to teams.
Knowledge of trauma-informed practice.
