Senior FF&E Designer
A well-established Interior design studio based in South West London is seeking a Senior FF&E Designer to join the team. The studio works on a select portfolio of exceptional, high-value residences, delivering considered, bespoke interiors for an international private clientele.
This position is suited to an experienced FF&E designer with a refined eye and the confidence to lead FF&E packages across multiple projects with discretion and precision.
The Role
The Senior FF&E Designer will take responsibility for the development and delivery of FF&E schemes across several private residential projects. Working closely with Associates and Project Leads, you will ensure that each scheme reflects the studio’s design ethos, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead FF&E design development from concept through specification, procurement, and installation
* Curate and deliver cohesive FF&E schemes aligned with the overall interior design vision
* Prepare and oversee detailed schedules, specifications, and procurement documentation
* Liaise with international suppliers and manufacturers to source bespoke items.
* Coordinate closely with interior designers, architects, consultants, and contractors
* Provide guidance and support to mid-weight and junior FF&E designers
* Maintain oversight of budgets, lead times, and procurement programmes, demonstrating strong commercial awareness
* Ensure all FF&E is delivered to the highest standard, on time and within agreed parameters
* Uphold discretion and professionalism in all client and supplier interactions
About You
* Significant experience as an FF&E Designer within high-end or super-prime residential projects
* Strong knowledge of luxury furniture, lighting, finishes, fabrics, and bespoke craftsmanship
* Confident managing complex FF&E packages across multiple projects
* Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets, supplier negotiations, and procurement timelines
* Highly organised, methodical, and detail-focused
* Clear communicator with a calm and professional approach
* Comfortable mentoring junior team members
* Eligible to work in the UK please note there is no sponsorship.
