The Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a Leisure Assistant to support our leisure centre operations at Kingham Hill Leisure Centre. This is a full-time role, working 52 weeks per year. As a Leisure Assistant, you will play a key role in the smooth daily operation of Kingham Hill Leisure Centre. Your responsibilities will cover customer service, lifeguarding, operational support, facility upkeep, and assisting with leisure programme administration. This is a varied role that involves working across the pool, gym, and front‑of‑house areas, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Training for First Aid and lifeguarding competencies is provided. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a customer-facing role within a hospitality environment, providing a professional and customer focused environment.
