Health Care Support Worker within ABUHB working at St Cadocs Hospital or Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr Hospital within the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities division.
An exciting opportunity has become available within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board as a Health Care Support Worker. To join our caring and professional nursing team.
Responsibilities
* Provide high standards of care for patients, their families and carers within a hospital setting.
* Be fully flexible to cover rotational shifts that include days, nights and weekends.
* Support the nursing team in delivering patient care and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
Qualifications
* NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care gained in a Health & Social Care Setting or experience for 6 months within a domiciliary setting.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
* Ideally the candidate will have excellent computer skills and be enthusiastic about change management and supportive towards colleagues.
Other information
* Please note that this role currently is advertised at Band 2 with potential progression to Band 3 as part of a national review; if appointed, your manager will keep you informed and support you through any changes, including discussing relevant training requirements.
* Currently we are unable to provide certificates of sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the Home Office\'s criteria. Anyone requiring a certificate of sponsorship is therefore unable to be shortlisted and interviewed.
