About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Secondary PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Liverpool area. We’re seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational PE Teacher who is passionate about promoting physical activity and personal development across a range of sporting disciplines.
PE Teacher
Location: Liverpool, L1
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term
Working Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Pay: Paid to scale
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that develop students’ physical literacy
2. Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their personal best
3. Leading clubs, fixtures, and enrichment opportunities both during and after school
4. Promoting the values of teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles
Requirements:
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
6. A strong role model who fosters participation, effort, and personal growth
7. Experience teaching a range of sports to girls
8. Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
9. Right to Work in the UK.
10. Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
11. Ability to provide two professional references.
