Role: HR Officer
Location: Antrim, Northern Ireland
Type: Full-time | Permanent
Reports to: HR Manager
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead attendance and absence management, collaborating with line and factory managers to proactively reduce absenteeism.
* Support workforce planning in partnership with operational leaders to align staffing with production needs.
* Drive employee engagement and well-being initiatives to support a positive workplace culture.
* Maintain accurate HR records, prepare reports, and assist with payroll-related processes.
* Ensure ongoing HR compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
* Assist with performance management, guiding managers through appraisals and improvement plans.
* Oversee recruitment and onboarding across factory and office-based roles.
* Coordinate training and development programmes, ensuring compliance and progression.
The Ideal Candidate:
* CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards).
* Solid HR experience within a manufacturing or fast-paced operational environment.
* Confident working with factory and operational managers to support day-to-day workforce matters.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
* Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with HR systems.
