Head of Sales - Exhibitions

The Company:

The Role:

An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Head of Sales to take the lead on revenue growth for one of the UK's most celebrated consumer exhibitions - a flagship event that has shaped design, interiors and lifestyle for generations. As Head of Sales, you'll be responsible for driving stand and sponsorship sales, building long-term partnerships, and ensuring commercial success through strategic leadership, innovation, and collaboration.

Managing a talented team of up to 5, you'll deliver and exceed ambitious revenue targets across stand sales, sponsorship, and brand activations. Working closely with the Commercial Director, and collaborating across event, marketing, content and operations teams, you'll ensure every exhibitor and partnership engagement is delivered seamlessly, from concept to execution.


Key responsibilities include:

* Driving stand sales and sponsorship for the event, maximising all commercial opportunities.

* Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of exhibitors, sponsors and partners across key industry sectors.

* Creating persuasive and creative proposals that meet client objectives while enhancing event value.

* Leading by example on major accounts; negotiating, closing, and delivering high-value deals.

* Collaborating with internal teams to deliver impactful, experiential activations and campaigns.

* Analysing sales data and market trends to refine strategy, optimise floorplans and drive growth.

* Representing the brand at industry events to strengthen relationships and spot new opportunities.

* Mentoring your team to reach their full potential and achieve both personal and commercial success.


Requirements:

To be considered for the Head of Sales role, you will have:

* Minimum 4 years' B2B events experience (exhibitions or sponsorship).

* Proven success in growing revenues across large-scale events.

* Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial flair.

* Track record of a collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

* Experience managing high-value clients and developing tailored proposals.


The Package for Head of Sales:

* £55,000-£60,000 basic salary

* OTE of £20,000-£25,000

* Discretionary bonuses

* 25 days annual leave + birthday off (with gift and cake)

* Enhanced maternity & paternity leave & brilliant pension

Location: Loughton (5 days in office)
