A vacancy has arisen for a Cpl (People Ops – Pers Spt) to serve as HQ Cmd Sqn Clk at 2620RAuxAF Sqn, RAF Marham on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 07 September 2026 (or earlier/later, subject to candidate status). The successful applicant will work with and report to the 2620RAuxAF Sqn Chf Clk and be responsible to assist with the provision of HR Support for all 2620RAuxAF Sqn permanent staff and PTVR personnel. Applicants should note that most of the training and exercises for PTVRs take place on a weekend (currently one weekend per month) but does not always require A1 to attend training weekends, the normal working pattern is Mon – Fri 0830-1700. These dates are rostered in and notified, well in advance. The post is responsible to 2620RAuxAF Sqn Adjt via Chf Clk for the planning, organisation and management of workforce, materials and resources within the Sqn to meet the roles set out by the unit. Specific responsibilities include: Ensure the custody and issue of Service identity documents. Liaise with HR East Ops Sqn to ensure the currency of policies and processes are the most accurate and up to date. Undertake the creation, management and disposal of all Terminations, Career Intermissions, Extensions of Service, Identity Cards (MOD Form 90), Promotions Appraisal reports and special category forms. Act as the primary HR Clk for all 2620RAuxAF Sqn permanent staff and PTVR Personnel. Ensure all Reserve Service Day/Annual Continuation Training forms and attendance registers are submitted correctly and actioned to JPA before the pay run. Assist the recruitment team with raising all relevant documentation on attestation. Compile periodic statistical returns as required. Undertake monthly Management Checks on registers. Raise and facilitate the process of and provide guidance on appraisals. When required, mobilise and de-mobilise all PTVR staff IAW the relevant policy. The post holder will be expected to work some weekends throughout the year and participate in other Sqn Trg events and exercises where necessary, this can be negotiated with Sqn Chf Clk. Normal working pattern will consist of 3 days in office and 2 days working from home, allowing flexibility as and when required .
