Purpose of the Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll sit at the front lines of customer success and product innovation. Your mission is to shape customer outcomes by bridging Authsignal’s product capabilities with real-world integration needs. You’ll help enterprises and startups deploy secure identity solutions, create scalable developer resources, and deliver trusted experiences worldwide.
What You’ll Do
* Drive customer integrations - guide enterprises and high-growth startups in deploying Authsignal into their systems (CRMs, SaaS platforms, bespoke stacks).
* Shape developer experience - contribute to SDKs, libraries, connectors, and sample code to accelerate adoption.
* Be customer-facing - support pre-sales demos, proof-of-concepts, and post-sales implementations (including international travel as needed).
* Create scalable content - produce developer resources (docs, blogs, Looms, video walkthroughs) to reduce friction and empower self-service.
* Act as product advocate - capture integration pain points and customer insights to inform product improvements.
What You Bring
* Background in solution engineering, systems integration, or pre-sales engineering.
* Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, and enterprise software integration.
* Excellent communicator, confident in front of customers and comfortable explaining complex technical solutions.
* Experience in creating content (docs, blogs, videos) or willingness to grow in this area.
* Bonus: familiarity with identity, MFA, passkeys, or security concepts.
* Prior experience in SaaS startups, AWS, or enterprise solution consultancies is a strong plus.

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role.
* Strong problem-solving, solutioning, and communication skills.
