Core Responsibilities
* Development of project management and coordination skills
* Development of client management and engagement skills
* Undertaking Phase 1 Preliminary Risk Assessments
* Assisting with the undertaking of Phase 2 Ground Investigations
* Deliver intrusive ground investigations across the UK as a site engineer, ensuring technical compliance is adhered to
* Maintain an astute eye for detail to ensure best practice is followed
* Assist in the production of detailed technical reports within stringent internal protocols
* Communicate effectively with other project staff and clients to deliver projects
* Develop soil and rock logging skills to current geotechnical standards, including geotechnical and geo-environmental laboratory scheduling
* Learn how to collate geotechnical data using the latest industry software and write reports for external clients within internal protocols
Person Specification / Qualifications
* Previous site work experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training is available
* BSc degree in Geology, Earth Science, Geography, Civil Engineering, Environmental Geoscience or a related subject is essential
* A desire to become a key member of the local and national team of engineers
* Full clean UK manual driving licence is essential
* Right to Work in the UK: this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
