Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Development Engineer based in Bedlington, Northumberland.
As part of the Resistors Business Unit, the successful candidate will be involved in the design and development of new products and processes while completing the appropriate level of apprenticeship in Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Design and Development team you will work with other Engineers to develop new and improved designs for our Resistor products. This includes creating technical CAD drawings, developing new manufacturing processes and supporting the testing of products. You will learn how to create and follow project plans and develop report writing and effective communication skills.
You will also work closely with other teams across the site such as Quality, Production Engineering and Purchasing, enabling you to develop greater knowledge of how a manufacturing company works and operates.
Alongside your onsite training, the company will support the completion of the appropriate level of Engineering Apprenticeship.
