Global Tenderdesk & Major Pursuits Manager – Haskoning
Overview
As Global Tenderdesk & Major Pursuits Manager, you’ll lead high‑impact international bids and set the standard for pursuit excellence across regions. This role influences strategy, drives global collaboration, and has a measurable impact on Haskoning’s global competitive success.
Responsibilities
* Lead, manage and develop the global tenderdesk team, ensuring effective collaboration, resource allocation and professional growth.
* Provide strategic leadership for major pursuits across regions, ensuring alignment, quality, and timely delivery.
* Lead and inspire a global community of tender professionals, fostering collaboration, capability, and shared standards.
* Partner with Marketing and Business Development to position pursuits early and develop clear, competitive bid strategies.
* Define and drive the global Way of Working, embedding consistent processes, tools, and governance across tendering activity.
* Champion digital platforms, AI tools and data‑driven insights to enhance proposal quality and efficiency.
* Support and mentor regional tenderdesk leads, promoting a culture of learning, performance and innovation; monitor pursuit performance, analyse trends and share insights to improve win rates and operational excellence.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in bid management and pursuit leadership, ideally within consultancy, professional services or engineering.
* Proven ability to lead and develop international (and cross‑regional) teams, aligning diverse cultures and time zones through collaboration and influence.
* Strong track record in developing and implementing bid strategies, working early with Marketing and BD to shape clear, client‑focused proposals.
* Experience in process alignment, digitalisation and AI integration to enhance consistency and performance.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and technical experts.
* Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline; APMP or similar accreditation desirable.
* Willingness to travel as required to connect with teams and stakeholders.
