Spacious, elegant nursing home in South Lowestoft, providing nursing, residential, and dementia care for up to 71 residents. Fully registered with the CQC, employing trained nurses and carers, focusing on person-centred care and individual needs.
Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead Kirkley Manor, ensuring high-quality care, compliance, financial performance, and full occupancy. You will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and lead a team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide leadership to staff, fostering kindness, compassion, and empathy.
2. Recruit, train, motivate, and retain care professionals.
3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including CQC.
4. Manage budgets and financial targets.
5. Develop marketing strategies to maintain full occupancy.
6. Build relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders.
7. Oversee administrative tasks and performance monitoring.
8. Manage risks and ensure a safe environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience managing a nursing home.
* Knowledge of CQC standards with a record of achieving high ratings.
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
* Proven marketing and business acumen in the care sector.
* Passion for person-centred care.
* Ability to contribute to service growth and development.
Education and Qualifications
* Preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential).
