You will: Lead and mentor the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education with pride and energy. Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing all aspects of nursery operations, ensuring consistency and quality. Act as a role model, fostering an environment of initiative, creativity, and high standards of care. Build strong partnerships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to promote collaboration and excellent outcomes for children. Monitor and guide the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging and nurturing learning opportunities. Take responsibility for the nursery in the Nursery Manager’s absence, ensuring smooth operations. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, providing constructive feedback and supporting professional development within your team. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that respects the unique needs of every child. About our Nursery Our Wylde Green Day Nursery is nestled in the heart of Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. Our nursery exudes a warm, community spirit, focusing on teaching children valuable lessons about themselves and the world around them. Our spacious open plan nursery means you will be working with a mix of ages from 1-5. Wylde Green nursery is situated just off the A452 Chester Road and only a 3-minute walk from Chester Road train station.
