Join the Real Estate Transformation Programme as a Design Lead, leveraging your technical expertise and practical mindset to shape the future of a global property portfolio. You will operate across a varied technology stack, including Saas and internally hosted platforms. This role suits individuals who excel at solving complex technical challenges, are passionate about technology, and enjoy collaborating with engineering teams. Hands-on coding experience is advantageous. Key Responsibilities ●Technical Leadership: Drive the design and delivery of technology solutions for Real Estate, from concept through to deployment. Remain hands-on by reviewing solutions, prototyping, and contributing code where appropriate. ●Collaborative Innovation: Partner with business and engineering stakeholders to identify challenges, explore innovative approaches, and translate strategy into actionable designs. ●Architectural Vision: Develop and communicate architecture roadmaps that balance robust engineering with innovative applications, including automation and bespoke solutions across Saas and internal platforms. ●Cyber Security: Ensure all designs and solutions comply with established cyber security controls and secure development practices. ●Governance & Advocacy: Promote best practices in design and development, ensuring alignment with organisational standards while encouraging new ideas and continuous improvement. ●Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, proactively seeking opportunities to experiment and drive innovation within the programme. What You'll Bring ●Proven Technical Leadership: Experience leading design and development in complex environments, with the ability to challenge assumptions and inspire teams. ●Cyber Security Awareness: Strong understanding of cyber controls and secure development methodologies. ●Hands-On Technical Skills: Confident in technical discussions, code reviews, and contributing to codebases or prototypes. ●Creative Problem-Solving: Eagerness to explore unconventional solutions and apply technology to deliver business value. ●Stakeholder Engagement: Effective communicator, able to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, including non-technical stakeholders. ●Adaptability: Open-minded, resilient, and willing to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. Advantageous Experience ●Protective Security & loT: Experience with protective security technologies (, access control, surveillance, biometrics, video analytics) and loT/Edge devices. ●Mechanical Control Systems: Background in working with engineering teams on mechanical control systems (, building management, operational technology) to deliver integrated, secure, and connected real estate solutions.
