Lincoln House is located in Swanton Morley Dereham and specialises in providing quality care and support to our residents in this 60-bed care home. Our care home is set in a beautiful location, nestled in landscaped gardens with a peaceful courtyard, with farmland views overlooking the Norfolk countryside.
The Role:
To promote and maintain professional, clinical, and administrative arrangements, training, and care planning within the home.

Responsibilities:
* Provide a high standard of nursing care that will enhance the quality of life of the residents. The care will be delivered as part of a team with the home's general care staff which is truly person centered.
* To create and maintain with the staff an environment in which all members of staff can contribute to the maximum of their ability in providing a high standard of skilled nursing care to the residents and encourage recognition of the resident as an individual
* You will lead your team.
* You will take responsibility for your allocated resident group to ensure that a quality service is provided to meet the individual needs of the resident group.
* You will manage an allocated group of staff, ensuring that regular supervision is provided and offering support and mentoring to ensure professional standards are maintained.
* You will be responsible for the development of relationship with individuals, relatives, and other healthcare professionals to produce and support person centered care planning.
* Responsible for the safe management of medication for your allocated resident group
Skills Required/ Qualifications:
* Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
* Professional, understanding and patient.
* Wound care, Bowel care, Male/ female catheterisation, Palliative care and PEG/ RIG experience, phlebotomy but not essential as training will be provided.
* Good interpersonal skills
* Reliable
* Team player, willing to train and develop colleagues.
