About the role: We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and well-organised person to join our Finance Department as Credit Control. You will play an important role in ensuring that student accounts are managed accurately and responsibly. You’ll handle a range of credit control and financial administration tasks, always maintaining clarity, professionalism, efficiency and excellent communication. The ideal candidate must be/have: Has excellent written and spoken English. Communicates clearly, confidently, and warmly—especially when discussing payments. Manages time and workload efficiently. Is confident using Microsoft Office and CRM databases. Has strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Brings a positive, respectful attitude when interacting with students. Ideally has experience in credit control, finance administration, or working within an education or student-facing environment. Duties will include: Managing student and customer accounts, ensuring payments are up to date. Contacting students regarding overdue balances and following up appropriately. Setting up, monitoring and managing payment plans. Processing payments and updating and maintaining financial records accurately. Investigating and resolving account queries in a clear and supportive manner. Working closely with the Student Support teams to ensure accurate account information. Preparing reports and maintaining documentation in line with financial procedures. Supporting the Finance Department with general administration when required.
