Responsibilities
* Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations.
* Support the catering team in delivering meals for events and functions as required.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow during busy periods.
* Participate in inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies appropriately.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen at all times.
* Engage with customers when serving food to ensure satisfaction and address any dietary requirements.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant is preferred.
* Knowledge of food safety practices
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
