Housekeeper

Clifton Park TC, York

Hours: hours

Shift Patterns: 10am-6pm Monday- Friday

The role

You’ll be involved in cleaning all areas of the hospital, from wards to theatres. We’ll give you all the training you’ll need – including getting you up to speed on infection control regulations.

Where you’ll be based:

Clifton Park Hospital is a modern, purpose-built in-patient hospital located just outside York city centre. Registered with the Care Quality Commission the hospital has 24 beds, including enhanced care, two theatres, a day case unit, a large outpatients department with x-ray facilities and on-site physiotherapy including a small gym area.

What you will bring:

1. High levels of customer service as this role is patient facing

2. A positive can-do attitude

3. The ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment

4. Good interpersonal skills

5. The ability to manage own workload

6. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

7. A good understanding of Hospital Infection prevention processes would be advantageous.
