Job Title
Lead Clinician
Base Pay Range
£50,000 - £60,000 DOE plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus (one payment of £2,500 after one month and a further payment of £2,500 upon completion of the final probation period; T&C’s apply)

The Role
We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in‑house Clinical Team at Red Kite School in Buckinghamshire. The postholder will work collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. Responsibilities include clinical leadership, holding a therapy caseload, delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex needs, coordinating line management of the onsite clinical team, and leading service development alongside the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
Location
Red Kite School, Buckinghamshire HP27 0JW – an independent specialist day school supporting young people aged 11‑18.
Qualifications & Experience
* Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapy or registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
* Valid and up to date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS).
* Experience within the specialist client group, working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
* Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently and dynamically within a growing and developing clinical service.
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality (preferred).
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
