Job Title: Sales Director UK&I

Overview: My client is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and experienced "strategic" & "hands-on" Sales Director to join their expanding UK&I commercial team. This role is responsible for leading and driving the sales growth of a market leading and Enterprise wide Managed Cloud BPO services portfolio around AI influenced ERP/CRM/Open-Source/Data & FinTech solutions (including digital transformation projects) within UK & I and the wider European territory in the future. You will be responsible for shaping GTM, Partner Engagement and business development activities within the Enterprise domain (target industry sectors are BFSI, Telecoms/Utilities, Retail/CPG, Manufacturing & Public Sector on a new business/new logo basis (this is a territory start-up/build out opportunity)
You will ultimately lead the sales function as they grow and be responsible for a small team, including P&L, H&F and a full ownership of the sales revenue number.
The candidate will possess a deep understanding of SaaS & Service ba sed solutions around managed, BPO, cloud & complex strategic sales within large Enterprise customer environments, C-Suite engagement, having a proven track record of securing multip le £MM (ACV) new business/new log o's and capable of building/cultivating new long-term client relationships within Enterprise & Partner Alliance markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead New Business Development Initiatives: Identify, develop, and close £5M-£10M+ ACV services deals on a new business basis within the Enterprise sector (new logo acquisition to build out their footprint in UK&I, being based remotely from the UK, ideally in and around the London a
rea.• Strategic Sales: Own the sales cycle from lead generation (in conjunction with marketing) to contract negotiation and closing up to & including the C-Suite. You'll create and execute effective strategies to target and engage high-potential Enterprise clients.
• Client Relationship & Team Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organisations. Understand client needs, business challenges, and provide tailored enterprise solutions (managed & cloud) to address those needs. Develop a team of professional sellers (AE's) and lead from the front.
• Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay informed on market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging FinTech/ERP/CRM/AI & "Big Data" technologies. Use this insight to guide sales efforts and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the marketing, solution architecture, and project delivery teams (off shore), to ensure proposals, contracts, and project execution are aligned with client needs.
• Revenue Growth and Targets: Achieve and exceed defined sales targets (£MM ACV, DoE) and KPIs. Continuously monitor and improve the sales pipeline to ensure consistent growth.
• Proposal Development and Presentation: Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and demonstrations, effectively communicating the value of their solutions to prospects.
• Networking and Industry Presence: Attend industry events, webinars, and conferences to build your professional network and promote the company’s services. Represent the business as a thought leader within the FinTech/ERP/CRM/AI & Data Managed/BPO technology services space.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience: At least 10+ years of proven new business development/new logo acquisition experience, STABLE work history (job hoppers need not apply!), within B2B IT services sales, ideally within the Managed Cloud or BPO FinTech/ERP/CRM/AI or Data space and coming from a consulting, SI or managed/cloud services environment. A strong track record of closing multiple complex, large-scale £MM ACV projects and working with senior C-suite Executives is essential.
• Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of SaaS/AI/Cloud/Transformation/FinTech/ERP/CRM software solutions, implementation processes, and market trends. Experience with popular platforms such as SAP, Microsoft (365 Dynamics), Temenos/FIS, Salesforce/Oracle is preferable.
• Sales Expertise: Strong background in B2B solution sales, lead generation, and closing strategies. Skilled in building relationships and negotiating high-value contracts.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex solutions and engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. Comfortable with working remotely and across multiple time zones.
• Team Player: Collaborative, with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, and to lead initiatives across multiple departments.
• Location: This is a remote role based within the UK (London area is ideal) Flexibility with travel to client sites and events may be required.
Team leadership skills - 5 yrs of motivating, mentoring & coaching commercial AE's/BDR's/AM's.
Education: A degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
