Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our small team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. With imminent plans to refurbish our bar area we are looking for someone who can confidently assist us in designing a brand new cocktail menu.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
* Interact with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
* Handle cash and process transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure efficient service.
Skills
* Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is required
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of customers.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
* A genuine desire to help others, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience at our establishment.
