Family Solicitor – Anthony Gold Solicitors
Anthony Gold is a boutique firm with offices in London Bridge and Streatham, offering a broad range of legal services. The family team is renowned for NCDR and litigation work. We are looking for a Family Solicitor to support growth and provide legal advice and representation across all family law matters, including divorce, child arrangements, financial settlements, domestic abuse and other disputes. The role demands strong legal expertise combined with emotional intelligence to support clients in sensitive situations.
Responsibilities
* Client Consultations and Advice: advise clients on legal rights and options, assess case viability and funding, provide written cost estimates.
* Legal Documentation: draft and negotiate pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements, divorce petitions, financial remedy orders, child arrangement orders, separation agreements and cohabitation contracts.
* Court Presentation: represent clients in family courts and tribunals, handle litigation involving divorce, child custody, spousal support and domestic violence.
* Case Management: maintain accurate records, manage caseloads efficiently, ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
* Business Development: build and maintain referral relationships, participate in networking and training activities, support, train and develop junior team members.
Person Specification
* 10+ years of family law experience.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Excellent client‑facing and relationship‑building skills with empathy.
* Ability to communicate complex legal matters clearly.
* Business development and networking proficiency.
* Confidence in representing clients in court and negotiations.
* Familiarity with case‑management systems, Word, Excel.
* Understanding of SRA rules, family law statutes and funding streams.
* Experience working under Lexcel or equivalent quality standards.
* Resolution accreditation or similar professional recognition.
* Sound NCDR skills; collaborative or mediation qualification preferred.
* Existing caseload advantage, but not essential.
