Hours: Part time or full time - 40 weeks per year (term time + 5 PD days, plus one week worked in school holiday*

Part time: 22.5 hours over 3 days - (starting salary £19,911 actual) or Full time: 37 hours over 5 days - (starting salary £32,743 actual).
Penrose Learning Trust is looking to recruit a qualified and motivated Senior HR Advisor to join our friendly and hardworking central team. You will work alongside our recently appointed Head of Service - HR to support the nine schools, within our trust to develop and thrive, as well as supporting the development of other HR team members.
The key aspects of the role include:
supporting the HR Manager to raise HR practice and procedure across the trust
supporting senior school leaders to develop their skills in dealing with complex people issues
providing guidance and support in relation to all HR matters and lead on more complex case work
assisting HR transactional and administrative processes
attending and participate in HR related meetings.
You will have:
a qualification to CIPD Level 5 or equivalent and be a member of CIPD
knowledge and understanding of schoolteachers pay terms and conditions to include the 'Burgundy book'
knowledge and understanding of support staff terms and conditions to include the 'Green book'
outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
organisational and planning skills
a high level of IT literacy.

The central team, based at East Bergholt High School comprises Finance, HR, Estates and IT. These central teams work as a unit to support schools and Headteachers to deliver the best possible education. We pride ourselves on our positive, hardworking ethos and collegiate atmosphere.
