We are currently recruiting for an experienced Kitchen Domestic to work for our client based in Nottingham area.
Key Responsibilities of Kitchen Domestic:
* To assist in the provision of catering services within the local day service.
* To carry out work requested by Caterer ensuring adherence to menus, food is of good quality, presented attractively and served at the appropriate time and in appropriate portion sizes.
* To carry out preparation of vegetables and any simple food preparation requested.
* Responsible for washing up pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery.
* Responsible for cleaning catering equipment surfaces and storage areas in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
* To undertake general dining room duties as required.
* Under the direction of the Caterer, service meals and support the preparation of a flexible snack service.
* To notify the ‘named person’ of equipment defects and ensure action is taken to effect repairs.
* To order stock in the absence of the Caterer
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Requirements of Kitchen Domestic:
* Enhanced DBS
* Food hygiene certificate level 3.
* Required to wear protective clothing including headwear and sensible.
* Related experience of cleaning and using equipment.
* Knowledge in COSHH and risk assessments
