ALN Teaching Assistant – Swansea
Vision for Education are urgently seeking dedicated Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across central Swansea on a flexible, supply basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including Autism Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, and Speech and Language difficulties.
We are looking for individuals who are motivated, adaptable, and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting young learners. You will play a key role in assisting teachers and helping pupils reach their full potential within a nurturing, child-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs in the classroom
2. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences
3. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment
4. Adapt to different school settings as required
Requirements:
The ideal ALN Teaching Assistant will:
5. Have experience working with primary-aged children or young people
6. Demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting pupils with ALN
7. Work effectively as part of a team
8. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
