We have an opportunity for an Operations Manager to join a specialist printing company as part of the management team, leading production staff in delivering complete printed products. Your role will be to ensure a friendly and positive working environment is maintained where business outcomes, customer service, and staff capability and cooperation are the focus.
Key objectives:
1. Monitor and ensure that factory services are delivered in accordance with commitments and policies, procedures and quality standards
2. Manage human resource and physical assets in accordance with policies, guidelines and targets, including the establishment and maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment
3. Achieve financial and operational targets by ensuring operational efficiency, sound financial practices, effective operational practices and customer satisfaction
4. Maintain cooperative working relationships and develop strong business networks within the industry
Responsibilities will be achieved through excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication, development of personal and staff capability, and assisting staff through change.
Experience:
5. Excellent working knowledge of Digital Print processes – structured and personalised print, colour management, finishing and quality processes
6. Experience working knowledge of Digital Flatbed or CNC cutters
7. Experience in of design, colour theory and colour management processes
8. Understanding in Adobe Creative Suite software
9. Understanding in CAD and DXF files
10. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
11. Team-oriented management style with demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills
12. Good planning and problem-solving skills with proven track record in achieving results through or with other team members
13. Proven ability to produce understand and analyse operational, financial and management reports
14. Experience with producing manufacturing performance reports
15. Demonstrated innovation, creativity, and decision-making abilities
16. Flexible in relations with others and in the management of continuous change
