Responsibilities
* Lead and manage manufacturing and maintenance operations at the Lostock site, ensuring compliance with local laws and company EHS standards.
* Develop and coach a high‑performing team of direct reports, fostering an inclusive and high engagement culture.
* Maintain EHS compliance: ensure permits, conduct GAP analyses, build relationships with permitting authorities, and maintain documentation.
* Execute production orders on time and in full, collaborate with SIOP team to optimize output, and be final approver for NPI and NPT.
* Control operational costs: analyze and forecast cost of operations, manage capital investment projects within budget.
* Drive quality improvement: establish continuous improvement processes, partner with BUs, maintain ISO standards.
* Handle HR tasks in collaboration with Regional People Operations, including talent development and succession planning.
* Lead problem resolution, implement capital investments, recommend equipment purchases, and preserve fixed assets.
Qualifications
* Technical degree or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years experience leading an operation or operations area.
* 5+ years people leadership experience.
* 8+ years manufacturing experience.
* Manufacturing experience in a process industry with a broader business perspective.
* Quality and customer orientation.
* Working knowledge of general and cost accounting principles.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Highly numerate and process driven.
* Ability to network with business and technical peers.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
* Experience in a global organization.
* MBA education.
* Engineering or chemistry background.
* Experience in the chemical industry.
