Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Breakfast Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast dishes in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
* Supervise kitchen staff during breakfast service, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols
* Manage food production, including portion control, plating, and presentation of dishes
* Oversee food safety practices and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering to ensure availability of ingredients
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, organisation, and safety within the kitchen at all times
Qualifications
* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
* Supervising experience in a culinary environment is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy breakfast periods
* Culinary qualifications or relevant hospitality training are preferred
* Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards customer service and team collaboration
