This is an interesting opportunity to work in the largest registration district in England and Wales. Based at Birmingham Register Office, you will be involved in many aspects of registration work including, registering births, deaths and marriages / civil partnerships and helping to deliver other civil ceremonies, via face to face appointments. You will be required to attend religious buildings and death bed marriages. You should have previous civil registration experience and of working in a busy frontline customer care environment. You should be helpful and understanding of your customers needs during times of their key life events. You will need to be flexible and able to work under pressure in order to meet changing deadlines. You must be a motivated, committed individual who understands the demands and sensitivities of working within civil registration. Excellent organisational, computer, keyboard and communication skills together with a meticulous attention to detail are required. Having a positive can do approach you must be able to work independently and be an effective team player.
