Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Care Practitioner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in childcare and early childhood education who are eager to make a positive impact on the lives of children. The Care Practitioner will work closely with children in a nursery setting, providing nurturing care and educational support to foster their development and well-being.
Duties
* Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in a nursery environment.
* Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive environment.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods, ensuring each child's needs are met.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adjusting activities as necessary.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere that encourages children's exploration and creativity.
* Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills while collaborating with other staff members.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and families.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive demeanour.
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
* Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
* A drive to continuously improve practices within the nursery setting.
