International Card Services (ICS) brings together our International Consumer and Small & Medium Size Enterprises (SME) issuing activities, as well as our Commercial Large Market sales and account development teams. ICS issues Cards in 27 countries, and is responsible for two Joint Ventures covering around a dozen countries. The leaders in these countries are empowered to make decisions at a local level, in partnership with other local business leaders. Local teams are supported by two cross-market teams – the Centre of Excellence, and Risk & Control Management.


Job Description

Our organization helps our international businesses manage risk, respond to new regulation, and develop new products whilst creating and nurturing effective partnerships across multiple key stakeholders across the enterprise.

The Financial Crimes PMO is currently responsible for the governance of the International Financial Crimes Transformation program, as part of the ICS Governance & Control team. The program has been designed to accelerate progress in delivering on Business KYC and other AML obligations. This is in response to increased regulatory risk as a result of growing expectations and expanded requirements. As part of this organisation, there is an exciting opportunity for a PMO Manager within the ICS Financial Crimes Program Management Office (PMO). The PMO will be responsible for ensuring we drive and report progress against the program objectives in a highly professional and efficient manner. This role supports the PM and Directors throughout the Projects lifecycle, from the Intake phase to end-to-end reporting, including senior management communication.


Responsibilities

* Review RCM (Regulatory Change Management), Regulatory process gaps, ORE (Operational Risk Event), CAP (corrective Action Plan), new intakes or Audit finding, and gate keep accordingly to ensure the key AML legal regulation drivers for prioritisation are clearly defined.
* Use the Risk assessment and tiering model efficiently to confirm regulatory risk impacts to ICS with evidence to support prioritisation rationale.
* Review new items bi-weekly with financial crimes leadership to ensure efficient Financial crimes international backlog management (manage stack ranking and financial crimes initiative overall backlog).
* Collaborate effectively with key partners to ensure AML requirements are defined and prioritised effectively in alignment with Regulatory needs.
* Ensure items are ready ahead of time to meet regulation where possible and feed into Technology PI (Program Increment) planning sessions in advance of time in partnership with Financial Crimes Product, LPMs, CE&O and Technology.
* Support efficient PI planning and delivery including supporting accurate and up to date requirements documentation and roadblock resolution.
* Establish a focused and successful Financial Crimes Technology Portfolio management processing LRP requests, Financial Crimes new intakes & technology capacity prioritisation in line with the RCS risk assessment.
* Ensure robust program delivery governance by driving a precise project delivery within scope and timelines. Work directly with Financial crimes VP’s and Directors, LPM and technology PMOs to drive progress against key program objectives from a driving result perspective and efficient reporting.
* Establish a financial oversight across all workstreams and Regulatory workstreams.
* Coordinate across workstream efforts to identify efficiencies, dependencies, and overlap.
* Support the design and management of program level roadmaps.
* Provide key inputs into executive level reporting.


Qualifications

* Exceptional collaboration and comfortable interacting with Senior leadership.
* Proven Experience in establishing clear Program governance structure & processes including and not limited to RAID, RAG, Change management, Intake … etc. Attention to detail is paramount to be successful in this role.
* Proven Project / Program Management in a technology environment clearly understanding Capacity prioritisation, PI planning, Technical Requirements gathering and documentation- Previous experience working specifically on KYC/AML program(s) is a clear benefit
* Ability to influence without authority, build and leverage relationships with key business partners, ability to work effectively in a matrix organization to steer business partners and key stakeholders to best-in-class practices and solutions.
* Experience in establishing executive reporting - Excellent communication and relationship management skills, both written and verbal, with ability to interact with stakeholders across all management levels.
* Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, strong attention to detail and control mindset.
* Effective in operating autonomously and making complex decisions in situations of ambiguity and time pressure.
* People leadership experience.
* Knowledge and previous experience in AI and Air Table would be beneficial.
