1. You will work with the team to promote and support young people in leading positive lives by providing a safe and nurturing environment.
2. Ensure daily management is conducted professionally and support the Service Manager in delivering high-quality care.
3. Lead a team alongside other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support tailored to each child's needs.
4. Record events, observations, progress reports, and assist in preparing and implementing care plans.
5. Act as a positive role model to colleagues and children, fostering trusting relationships that promote recovery, growth, and lasting change.

Role Details
Position: Senior Support Worker - Children's Homes
Location: Lytham St Annes
Salary: £27,580 per annum + £3,000 - £6,000 pa for sleep-ins (4-8 sleep-ins per month at £62.64 each)
Hours: Full-time, long day shifts plus sleep-ins. Full UK driver’s license required.
Candidate Requirements
* At least 12 months of children's home experience and a Level 3 residential childcare qualification.
* Knowledge of child-centered, therapeutic models.
* Excellent communication skills, caring, flexible, and resilient.
* Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins.
* Full UK driving license.
