Administrative Officer

As part of Legal and Democratic Services, you will provide comprehensive administrative support within the Democratic and Resources Team. Your main duties include administering the Council's democratic processes, including elections and support to Elected Members. You will also supervise a small clerical team.
You must have good IT skills, moderate clerical experience, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities. Meeting deadlines, working as part of a team, and using your initiative are essential. An SVQ Level 2 or equivalent is desirable, as is supervisory experience.
You will join a dynamic, flexible team based at the Civic Centre offices in Motherwell.
