We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support our Quality team. In this role, you will act as a quality focal point for project teams to ensure compliance to business processes and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the development and implementation of business processes and systems in compliance with AS9100 and regulatory requirements.
* Acting as the Quality focal on development projects.
* Driving APQP activities.
* Drive for FAIR and PPAP completion.
* Acting as a business management system auditor.
* Taking part in customer/supplier visits and audits as required.
* Working with process owners to drive closure of non-conformances.
* Leading internal and external investigations to identify root cause and corrective actions.
* Involvement in change management and design for assembly/manufacture.
* Support in the development and deployment of quality objectives.
Required Skills and Experience
* Previous proven experience within a Quality Engineering role, ideally within aerospace.
* Familiar with CAA regulations Part21G and Part21J.
* Knowledge of AS9100 and Process Auditing, AS9100 Lead audit preferable.
* Experience with Quality Improvement Programmes, Pareto, PFMEA, 5S, 6‑Sigma or similar continuous improvement tools.
* Experience with internal and external audits.
* Experienced in the use of APQP tools and techniques; familiarity with AS9145 preferred.
* Experienced in the use of statistical analysis, process capability and problem resolution tools (8D, 5 Why, 6‑Sigma etc.) and techniques.
* A team player with the ability to work under own initiative.

* Ability to work at pace in a multi‑project environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Full UK driver's license.
