An inspiring primary school in Merton are searching for a Year 6 Primary Teacher to join their growing team in September 2026.
This is a permanent Year 6 Primary Teacher position with substantial TLRs available, including:
* Year 6 Primary Teacher + Year Group Leader - 4.5k TLR
* Year 6 Primary Teacher + Computing Lead - 3k TLR
* Year 6 Primary Teacher + Reading Lead - 3k TLR
* Year 6 Primary Teacher + Oracy Lead - 3k TLR
This state maintained school was recently upgraded to 'Good' under the new Executive Headteachers leadership and is striving towards obtaining Outstanding. Despite this, they are not an exam factory and adopt a holistic, well-rounded approach to education.
The school serves a deprived community however the school has an extended pastoral support team including an Assistant Headteacher for Behaviour, HLTA's for Behaviour, a Nurture Room, Counselling & Wellbeing Practitioners for the staff, children and families and more.
We are searching for a Year 6 Primary Teacher who can hit the ground running and work in a large team. Ideally, you will be an ambitious primary teacher who wants to join the school on their journey to outstanding, grow their career and take on even more responsibilities.
The Headteacher has a track record for developing not only schools but staff too. They are keen to enroll staff onto NPQ's and retain them by offering bespoke CPD and progression pathways.
