- up to 12 months, with potential to extend | Hybrid working About the Role: Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Ecologist to join their established Cardiff team in South Wales.
Youll collaborate with a range of specialists to deliver innovative ecological solutions across diverse, high-profile projects throughout the UK.
Youll be contributing to initiatives that support biodiversity enhancement, sustainability, and innovation
- with opportunities to shape best practice and apply creative approaches to environmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on a variety of ecological projects.
Plan, coordinate and undertake ecological field surveys, analysing and interpreting results.
Provide Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) support where required.
What Our Client is Looking For: Degree in ecology or a closely related discipline.
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
FISC Level 3 (or equivalent field identification skills).
Demonstrable protected species survey experience
- particularly with hazel dormouse.
Protected species licences desirable but not essential.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
Full UK/EEC driving licence.
