Your Role
As an experienced consultant in the Digital Trust practice, you will help set direction, grow the business, model Capgemini Invent values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior team members. Depending on experience, you will be comfortable with ambiguity and with applying business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and delivery leadership as a subject matter expert or workstream lead.
Key responsibilities include:
* Engaging in projects that transform clients' cybersecurity and architecture capabilities and reduce business and technology risk.
* Providing expertise in strategic, organisational and human aspects of cybersecurity (e.g., security strategy definition and board/CxO engagement).
* Providing threat modelling, risk management and security overlay insights through security maturity assessments.
* Conveying technical concepts in business terms to help clients realise value and quick wins.
* Engaging with clients to influence the board and senior stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
* Collaborating with teams to deliver security strategy, governance, security testing, identity and access management, privacy and cyber data analytics.
Domains and areas of expertise we are seeking in Senior Consultant candidates:
* Security Assurance – framework delivery (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials) tailored to client environments, risk profiles and regulatory requirements.
* Security Architecture – improving security posture through design/implementation of secure architectural patterns aligned with standards (e.g., CIS L1/2, NIST, ISO27001, COBIT).
* Generative AI – enabling secure Gen AI design and adoption for business, IT and security functions, aligned with evolving regulation (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR).
Your Profile
* Experience in one or more cybersecurity domains (e.g., Security & Risk Management, Security Architecture, Asset Security, Security Engineering, IAM, Security Testing, Security Operations, or secure software development).
* Experience in SOC teams, OT Security, Security Architecture, Security Op Model transformation projects and cybersecurity assessments.
* Familiarity with core frameworks/regulations (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO27001, CIS Controls, NIS2, DORA, FCA, Bank of England).
* Understanding of Gen AI implications for cybersecurity.
* Relevant qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
* Experience in consulting or industry with a consulting background.
* Proven ability to work in a matrixed organization and to enlist support for selling and delivering solutions.
* Experience in proposition building and delivery.
* Cross-sector or SME experience in Capgemini sectors (e.g., Financial Services, Public Sector, Energy & Utilities, Consumer, Manufacturing, Telco & Tech).
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Experience in managing and leading delivery in cybersecurity projects.
* SC clearance (or above) or eligible.
