In this role you would be working alongside other professionals to create multi-agency care plans providing early, preventative, statutory and child protection interventions to children and families in our area. The team are very passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people, practising in an innovative way, and we are looking for another member of staff to complement the existing service. Social work within an educational setting involves embedding professionals within the school to provide tailored, early-intervention support for pupils, families, and staff. We help address educational, mental health, and social challenges such as poverty, abuse, and attendance issues to improve child outcomes, bridge home-school gaps. We also help teachers understand social work duties, ensuring a holistic approach to pupils well-being. We are a supportive team and we work hard to embed children and young person-focussed frameworks such as The Promise, and Signs of Safety. Reporting to the team manager, you will join a group of highly trained and enthusiastic individuals who work with our most vulnerable children and young people.
