Job Description
Our client, an established business based in Baldock, is looking to recruit a Junior Finance Assistant for their growing team. The company will offer study support for AAT and you will get to learn from a dynamic Financial Controller and finance team.
This is an all-round finance role so will give the successful applicants the change to get involved in lots of different area of transactional finance.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Accounts Payable - set up new suppliers, upload invoices, provide coding and liaise with managers regarding approval
• Prepare weekly payment runs
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Accounts Receivable - raise invoices, assist with credit control • Bank reconciliations
• Year end reconciliations
• Assist with cashflow forecasting
• Additional administrative duties when required
The ideal candidate will be an early AAT studier or someone who has 3 months+ experience in a finance role and is looking for their first permanent finance position. The client offers study support for AAT plus the chance after probation to do hybrid working (will be fully office based before probation)
The office isn’t easily accessible by public transport so a driver would be preferred.
