We are currently looking for a Cleaning Site Lead to be based at a large school in Kent. The position is permanent and is working for a well-known facilities provider, providing a stable job position with good career prospects.
* Term-Time Hours: 14.00 - 19.00
* Half-Term Hours: 12.00 - 17.00
You will be taking the lead of a team of cleaners to provide and excellent service to the client and creating a safe and clean environment for the teachers and pupils to work in. As the role is working in a school you will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check for this position.
Duties
* Provide support & training for all cleaning staff
* Managing the rota
* Stock control of cleaning products
* Maintaining security of the premises
* Working with substances controlled under COSHH regulations
* Working hands‑on as needed to get the job done
* Working alongside the facilities manager as required
* Client liaison with the customer
* Previous experience working with cleaning equipment & products
* Communication skills
* Must have an Enhanced DBS or be willing to undertake one
* Previous experience of managing and/or supervising staff is an advantage
* Good organisational skills
