Goodman Masson are excited to be partnered with a medium sized housing association on their search for a Financial Services Manager!
What is the role?
Main responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with Financial Reporting Manager on annual statutory accounts and regulatory returns
2. Ensure trial balances and balance sheet reconciliations are accurate for Group entities
3. Work with Treasury Management team on daily and medium-term cash flow preparation
4. Maintain sufficient funds to meet obligations and manage surplus cash investments
5. Ensure payroll arrangements have adequate controls and operate effectively
6. Review monthly payroll reconciliations and submit statutory returns (e.g., pension)
7. Oversee preparation and submission of tax compliance returns
8. Liaise with HMRC and tax advisers for compliance
9. Submit proposals for annual rent and service charge increases
10. Ensure accurate updating of rent accounting systems
11. Oversee preparation of Payment Practice Reports and relevant KPIs
12. Regularly review outputs from accounting systems
13. Maintain accurate Fixed Asset and Liabilities Registers
This role is offering a salary of circa £67, per annum, with heavily remote working Aylesbury based.

14. A full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or qualified by experience
